Lately my approach to museum visits has become wiser and less stressful. I no longer hurry through gallery after gallery anxious to see as much as possible and yet absorb little. Now I limit my visit to a few exhibits.

It seems cryptic that getting to the three exhibits I chose took me past the Temple of Dendur, an Egyptian temple built by the Emperor Augustus around 15 B.C. and dedicated to Isis, Osiris and other deities. Unfortunately, the first name is now forever linked to strife throughout the world.
